Saving belief in Jesus is more that just intellectually accepting that God is probably real, that Jesus was His Son, and that He died for you. The Bible says in James 2:19 that even the demons believe and tremble. But they don't submit to God's will and trust Him. Saving faith is placing your trust in Jesus as Lord of your life, which should be evidenced in our lives by doing things according to God's will over our own will.
