Hello Everyone! The Whitman United Methodist Church is having a yard sale next Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be awesome things for sale, good food, drinks and our thrift shoppe will be open. Come by to shop, eat or just say hello. We thank you in advance for your support as we continue to CELEBRATE 150 YEARS of existence this year!

It is with great sadness, that I announce the passing of our dearly beloved Bob Horte who transitioned this morning peacefully.

His funeral arrangements are as follows:

This Saturday December 23, 2023 at:

Blanchard's Funeral Chapel, Whitman, Massachusetts
Visiting Hours will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon and Funeral Service will be directly after.

The Whitman UMC will be having a Chocolate Festival this Saturday May 6, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am just in time for Mother's Day .

We will have homemade chocolates including, milk, dark, white and sugar-free. There will be homemade fudge, baked goods, chocolate covered strawberries, fondue fountain with various dipping fruits on kebobs (choose your own fruit) , craft table, silent auction table and much more. We hope to see you there!

Come out today June 25, 2022 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm for our semi-annual fundraising Yard Sale. Many good things to buy as well as Fried Fish, French Fries, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, cold drinks and fellowship!!! You can take your food home or enjoy it right on the spot at one of our tables set-up in the shade.

Our Good Neighbor Thrift Shoppe is open as well with many items for sale. Some come on by and buy something, eat something, or just say hello. We will be so happy to see you!

Great News!!! Our Good Neighborhood Thrift Shoppe will be re-opening Monday June 7, 2021. The hours will be every Monday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month.

Please note that although the "no mask" policy will no longer be in effect in certain places, it will be required to gain entry to the thrift shop. No mask, No entry.

This is the policy of the church as it stands for now. So thank you in advance for your cooperation and we hope to see you soon.

Greeting in the Name of Jesus:

Our Easter Sunday Service will be live streamed on ZOOM tomorrow starting at 10:00 am. Due to security issues as it relates to Hackers interfering; we cannot post the service login information on any social media sites. This is my policy to protect all of you.

However, this service is open to all including the public. Those who would like to join us all you have to do is send me your email address to [email protected] and I will gladly send you the needed information. Blessing, love and God’s peace to all of you.
