Congratulations to Pastor Brett Cody, D.Min., on the conferring of his doctoral degree today. We are deeply grateful to the Lord for leading Pastor Brett to our church family more than twelve years ago. His faithful shepherding, fervent love for the flock of Jesus Christ, and steadfast commitment to the truth of God’s Word have been a tremendous blessing to us all. May the Lord continue to strengthen and use him for His glory.

Dear friends,

After five years on the road, singing songs inspired by the sounds of East Tennessee, front porch jams, and cedar trees… we’ve made a big decision.

It hasn’t been easy. There have been long conversations, and more than a few cups of coffee, but we believe that it is time.

Time to leave behind folk style worship music and step into a new calling.

DISCO WORSHIP!!!!

That’s right! Beginning this year, Kenny & Claire will transition into a fully disco-inspired worship experience!

What does that look like?

Four on the floor beats! Sanctified strut rhythms! Theological grooves you can FEEL! Finally, there will definitely be a mirror ball, because if it doesn’t spin, is it even worship????

As it is written somewhere (probably):
“let everything that has breath… stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive!”

We believe that the church is ready!
We believe the moment is now!
We believe… you should bring your dancing shoes!

So, get ready to boogie to the glory of God! Because we aren’t just walking by faith anymore… we’re dancing!!!
