Closing day at Addison County Fair & Field Days!

A special thank you to Bill Telgen, Sue deLancey, and Mark and Alison Levasseur for their faithful work at the booth today as we wrapped up a wonderful week.

We are grateful for everyone who served, prayed, stopped by, and helped make these many conversations possible. Most of all, we thank the Lord for every opportunity He provided to share the hope of the Gospel.

Please continue to pray that the Bibles, tracts, conversations, and seeds planted this week would bear fruit for His glory! 🙏

Day 4 continues…

Greetings from Day #4 at Field Days!

Today’s Praise & Prayer is for those who have requested and received Bibles from the church booth this week.

One particularly encouraging trend has been the number of younger people asking for Bibles—some telling us they have never read the Bible and have never even had one in their home.

We praise God that His Word is going into these homes! Please pray for each person who has received a Bible—that they will open it and read it, and that through His Word, God would reveal to them their need for Christ and the glorious good news of the Gospel.

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”
Romans 10:17

Please continue to pray for those serving today and tomorrow, for the people who stop at the booth, and that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified. (2 Thessalonians 3:1)

Greetings from Day Three at the Addison County Fair!

If you’re looking for something specific to pray for regarding this week’s evangelism efforts, please pray for those who are experiencing depression, despair, and emotional suffering.

One of the gospel tracts most frequently selected at our booth has been You Are Not Alone from Living Waters. That tells us many who pass by are quietly carrying heavy burdens.

Please pray that the Lord would draw these individuals to Himself, open their hearts to the hope found in Christ alone, and use His Word to bring comfort, repentance, and saving faith. Pray also that our volunteers would have wisdom, compassion, and courage as they engage in these conversations.

“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
