St. Mary’s has been conferring the Sts. Peter & Paul and Holy Myrrhbearers Awards since our 125th jubilee celebration in 2024. This year’s awards were presented to two deserving couples: Denise and Jeff Seeger, along with Geraldine and George Toth. These couples have shown remarkable dedication throughout the years and are admired for their Christian witness.
Father Andrew arranged for Sister Margaret Kapusnak, OSBM, George’s former teacher, who encouraged him to become a cantor, to record a special message for George on this special occasion. It was a tear-jerker and one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
Unfortunately, Jeff Seeger could not attend the event, due to a recent surgery. Denise accepted the award for them both.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Seegers and Toths for their outstanding Christian example!

St. Mary’s and friends had a delightful afternoon, on May 24th, painting canvas artworks featuring lovely daisies in mason jars, complemented by drinks and snacks. It was a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and a creative way to obtain new charming summer décor! A sincere thank you to the amazing fellowship committee for organizing this enjoyable event!

We hosted for Vespers and broke bread with Syro Malabar Catholics this past Saturday. They are serving as year-long missionaries for the Syro Malabar Church in the United States. We are delighted to be a part of this mission that fosters connections with our sister Eastern Churches. Thank you for your cherished fellowship!

On Friday, May 1st, St. Mary’s Stewardship Committee hosted Singo! Bingo in our parish hall, creating a delightful family night filled with fun, music, and fellowship. Congratulations to all the winners of Singo! and a heartfelt thank you to the incredible members of the stewardship committee for their efforts in making this event a success!

Our parish community mourns the loss of Pauline Bednar. We offer our sincere condolences and prayer to her family and friends. Pauline‘s funeral service will take place at St. Mary’s Tuesday, June 2 at 10 AM with visitation starting at 9 AM. Read the full obituary and funeral arrangements below. May her memory be eternal.

We are so grateful we received the sponsorship from Ace Hardware for our "Key Raffle" at this year's gala. We sold 400 keys to two treasure chests, each one with a $1,000 prize.
