This will probably end up being a very "intimate" evening tonight but I promise you 2 things: 1. It will help you spiritually and 2. The air conditioning will be cranked! To mark the 250th anniversary of the United States, Catholic bishops from across the nation will come together today to consecrate the country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Join them in prayer:

O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus:
You know the longings of our hearts,
and you desire that we enjoy friendship with you.
From your pierced side,
you have poured out the wellspring of
life, for which we thirst.

Your heart burns with a love for all people to return to a right
relationship with you.

We celebrate the abundant gifts you have given this nation,
founded on the self-evident truths
that our Creator has endowed all people
with the right to life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness.

We make reparation for the offenses against you and against human dignity
that have taken place in this nation.

May our hearts be united to yours,
so that our families and communities
enjoy peace and happiness;
may broken relationships be reconciled,
injustices repaired,
and the wounds of our land be healed.

May your holy Catholic Church serve as a sign,
pointing all people to your infinite love.
O Desire of Nations and Center of History,

This Weekend the Church celebrates the Feast of Corpus Christi - The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. On Sunday (weather permitting) we will have a Eucharistic Procession after our 11am Mass with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament outside by our Stations of the Cross until 3pm. Please join us and spend some time Sunday afternoon with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Leading up to the Feast on June 12th and our scheduled prayer service, our Director of Musc will be posting tracks from his album "Consecration - Hymns and Prayers to the Sacred Heart of Jesus."

Here's a new hymn titled "All Is Changed To Love." The tracks was inspired Saint / Sister Margaret Mary Alocoque who stated, "In the heart of Jesus, all is changed to love." I'm pleased with this track.
