DAY 4: COURAGE

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9

Where or how are you afraid or discouraged? ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This Scripture is a promise preceded by a command. The promise is that God is with us. Wherever and whenever, He is with us. This is why we can take confidence in the command to be strong and courageous. The source of that strength and courage must be found in the confidence that the Almighty is right there with us.

Today, pray courageously over your fears and discouragement.

God,
I give you my fears and discouragement that are listed above. I choose to follow your command to be strong and courageous because I know you are with me wherever I go.

DAY 1: KNOWING HIM

But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
Philippians 3:7-11

You probably have a lot of goals in your life, and many of them are likely good dreams and aspirations. There is a big difference, though, between good goals and the best goals. We should want what is best, and it is important to remember there is no greater aspiration or goal we should have than knowing and experience the fullness of Jesus Christ.

Pray today that your ultimate goal would not just be to “know about” but truly KNOW Jesus.

Father,

I don't think so. Thank you, Jesus, for taking ALL our sins on You!

I asked our teens a question at our Sunday Bible Study and told them to give a true answer, not the answer I wanted to hear.
I asked them, do you believe that Jesus is who the Bible says He is? This is a question as a believer we all need to ask ourselves, Is Jesus who the Bible says He is? And if so, do you believe He is coming back?
If we believe the Bible that Jesus is the son of God, the Messiah, and the one John the Baptist says in John 1:29, “behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the World”; if we believe He is coming back, how come we are not telling our loved ones, friends and anyone who will listen to us.
If we know that He is coming back to judge the world, should we not tell everyone about His love for them?

John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
What are they condemned to? They are condemned to Hell, a place meant for Satan and his angels, not man.
So why are we not telling everyone?
If we knew for sure that Jesus was coming back tomorrow, would we have to change how we act on a daily basis?
We cannot make people follow Jesus, everyone must make they're on choice.
We can not go in on our parent or grandparent’s shirt tail.
I heard it put this way by a preacher one time, “God does not have grandchildren or great-grandchildren, all He has is children.”

We are having a movie night for 6th-12th grade on April 1st from 6:00-8:30 P.M. with popcorn, make your own sundae bar, and other snacks.

There will be no Wednesday night activities on April 6th because it was planned to be Spring Break.
