Starfish Food Collection - This Weekend, June 20/21
Our next regular food collection will take place this weekend, June 20/21. All types of nonperishables are welcome, but we are especially in need of pasta sauce, crackers, canned stew, canned chicken, granola bars, and microwaveable meals. Please do not donate food beyond their "Use By" date. Thank you for your assistance.

Ordination to the Priesthood & Diaconate

Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi in Metuchen

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Bishop Paul G. Bootkoski, Bishop Emeritus of Metuchen, will ordain Rev. Mr. James Prumos to the Priesthood and Mr. Patrick Rasimowicz to the Diaconate for service in the Diocese of Metuchen.

The Ordination Mass will take place at the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi in Metuchen, beginning at 10:30 a.m.With praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, we invite the Faithful and People of Good Will in the Diocese of Metuchen to join us for this momentous occasion in these men's lives. We ask that you pray in a special way for our ordinandi and all their intentions as they begin serving the People of God in our local Church of Metuchen.

A CATHOLIC APPROACH TO INFERTILITY WITH MONIKA B. POTOCKI, MD, OBGYN

Dr. Monika Potock was raised in Livingston and then attended the College of New Jersey in Ewing. After getting her medical degree from Georgetown University in DC, she returned to do her OBGYN residency in Newark, NJ. She has worked at the St. Peter's Gianna Center in Somerset, NJ since April 2024, where she specializes in Medical and Surgical Naprotechnology. Her talk will be about how Naprotechnology is a faith-based, natural, scientific approach to understanding and treating fertility issues.
