Celebrating 10 AMAZING YEARS at the Center of Hope!
When we moved into our new facility on E. Main Street ten years ago, we tripled our physical footprint, but even more importantly, we multiplied our ability to impact lives throughout the community.
Over the past decade, our food outreach has grown exponentially, allowing us to address food insecurity in multiple ways. Our healthcare ministry expanded to include a vision clinic and a women’s preventative breast and cervical cancer clinic. Pastoral clinical counseling continued to grow, along with Reading Buddies in the public schools, and we were blessed to add a Women’s Bible Study Fellowship chapter.
One especially meaningful ministry born from the opportunities of our new facility has been our Cooking & Nutrition Education Class. Thanks to the beautiful demonstration kitchen, neighbors from our community have gained hands-on culinary experience while learning healthy cooking techniques, new recipes, and practical nutrition skills.
Want to know what’s really special? This class has evolved into something far greater than cooking alone. It has become a family, a place where people nourish both body and spirit through fellowship, encouragement, and God’s love.
As we celebrate 10 years in our new home at the Center of Hope, we thank God for every life touched, every volunteer who served, every donor who gave, and every neighbor who walked through our doors. Stay with us because the best is yet to come!
