Welcome Pastor Jenifer R Butler
Jenifer Renèe Butler was born on Wednesday August 7, 1985 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore to Reverend Willie Brockington, Jr and the late Karen Deneen Pinkney Brockington-Georgia.
Jenifer is native of Annapolis, Maryland and resides with her husband Pastor Darius K. Butler, Sr and their three children Jayden (8), Mariah (4), and Darius Jr (2).
Although her parents were very active in her life she was primarily raised by her grandparents Edward and Emily Pinkney.
As a child she was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School System. She attended Broadneck Senior High School receiving my honors including a Honor Roll, Class Secretary, and Who’s who among High School Students.
During her High School years she was very active in extra-curricular activities including the Maryland State Police Explorer program, French club where she was able to travel to France and Switzerland graduated in May 2003 with honors.
In December of 2006, Jenifer completed her Associate of Arts degree in General Studies at Anne Arundel Community College. That following spring semester, her studies took her to Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with emphasis in Counseling. In May of 2014 Jenifer graduated with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University.
Jenifer would like to crystalized her education by earning an M. Div and a PhD from United Theological Seminary and Howard University in Washington DC, respectfully.
Jenifer believes that the purpose of life is not only supposed to glorify God, but to also build character, and love others as Christ loves us.
Professionally, Jenifer works at Anne Arundel Medical Center since 2011 as a Primary Counselor. Her research interests include spirituality and interpersonal relationships, self and social identity, co-occurring disorders, interpersonal relationships, attitudes and attitude changes.
