Join Us in Prayer for VBS!

As we prepare for an exciting week of Vacation Bible School, we want to begin where it matters most—with prayer.

We believe in the power of prayer and invite you to join us for a special Prayer Walk-Through as we pray over the children, families, volunteers, and every space that will be filled with life, laughter, learning, and ministry during VBS.

Saturday, May 30 | 8:30–9:30 AM
Walk through the church building and pray over the classrooms, activities, volunteers, and the many moments where God will move throughout the week.

Whether you stay for a few minutes or the full hour, your prayers will be a blessing as we ask God to prepare hearts, protect our volunteers, and work powerfully in the lives of the 100+ children and families who will walk through our doors next week.

Come join us as we cover VBS in prayer!

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,[b] 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”..

Exam Cram Study Party

Tests, projects, and homework are some of our most frequent prayer requests in youth ministry. Let’s meet these anxieties with grace and hope as we spend time with our youth and devote our learning and our labor to the Lord.

Students: Spend some quiet time with your friends and church family as you prepare for your exam week. We will have some snacks and drinks available. Feel free to invite your friends from school!

↘ Adults: This is a great opportunity to come alongside our young people to model good study habits and trust God with our minds as we grow. Feel free to bring something to work on, read, or a quiet hobby.
