That's right - it's time for another $5 Bag Sale at our Second Hand Rose thrift shop! The sale runs this week, September 2 and 5. We're preparing to switch over to our Fall/Winter clothing. Come fill a bag for just $5, it's the best deal in the Upper Valley!

Our hours:
Wednesdays from 11am-1pm
Saturdays from 10am-12pm

Note: We will be closed on September 9 and 12 to turn over the racks. Join us for our reopening on September 16 to see our new inventory!

✨ Friendly PSA ✨

Please, please, please NO dumping!!! We know that this is probably well intentioned. Instead it creates more work for us and waste, especially when the items smell of cat urine. There are several other area resources that accept clean, undamaged household items, which are more appropriate for these donations.

Do:
~ Donate unopened, unexpired nonperishable and perishable food items, personal care items, and pet food 🥫
~ Latch the doors when you leave to prevent animals and weather from getting inside the pantry 🐿☔️
~ Take what you need, give what you can! 💗
~ Leave us a friendly note in the pantry - we'd love to hear from you! 💌

Don't:
~ Donate any open, partial, or expired items, including partially eaten food 🚫
~ Donate any razors or medicine because children do access our pantry sometimes unaccompanied 👶🏻👧🏽🧒🏼
~ Donate any clothing, household items, other larger items (like mattresses), etc 🚫
~ Leave the doors unlatched 🚪
~ Leave behind garbage 🤢

Holy tomatoes! 🍅 we've got tomatoes, come grab what you need for your sauce, soup, salsa, maybe even a sandwich or two ✌🏻😋 let us know what you create!

When you visit, please carefully push the left hand door closed and latch it shut. When it's slammed shut, the latch pulls away from the door and it's unable to be latched. Thanks for your help with this 💜

We're back helping our friends at the Hartford Community Coalition's Take a Bite Out of Hunger free summer meals program! Catch our members at the White River School on Mondays from 4:30-6pm handing out free meals 👋🏻 This is one of our favorite summer traditions. We're so excited to see you ☺️

Help us keep our neighbors hydrated during the intense heat! ☀️☀️☀️

Even after today, it will remain quite hot through the weekend. By tomorrow, most area resources will close for the long, holiday weekend. Our Sharing & Caring Food Pantry remains open 24/7/365. We are trying to stock not just water, but any hydrating drinks to help keep our neighbors cool. It is humbling to witness individuals drinking from canned veggies just to get a drink.
