This Sunday’s Sermon 📖
1 Corinthians 12:3-13

Join us this Sunday, May 24th at 10:00 a.m. as Pastor Chris preaches from 1 Corinthians 12:3-13.

1 Corinthians 12 reminds us that every believer has a vital role to play in the church, and our unique spiritual gifts are essential for the body of Christ to function effectively. Paul reminds the church that the Holy Spirit gives many gifts, but all of them come from the same Spirit. Some teach, some serve, some encourage, some lead, some comfort. No one person carries every gift, and no gift is unimportant. The struggle in the church at Corinth was comparison and division. Some believed certain gifts mattered more than others. Paul emphasizes that these gifts are given by the Holy Spirit for the common good, and no one gift is more important than another. These verses encourage us to appreciate and value the diversity of gifts within the church and to remember that unity does not mean sameness.

God’s grace is large enough to include us all.
