Recently, I contributed an article to the Center for Asian American Christianity at Princeton Theological Seminary, discussing the significance of prayer in anti-racism endeavors.

Later today, as a co-convener of the Racial Justice/Peace circle within the Korean Caucus, we will be gathering for a time of prayer. We believe that prayer is a crucial aspect of our efforts to combat racism while remaining rooted in our Christian faith.

Dear Friend,

My name is Liat and I have the honor of serving as Mustard Seed Generation's Development Manager. I'm also co-organizing an exciting MSG event this Thursday, May 26th - 3pm CDT | 4pm EDT titled "An Asian American Conversation on Racism: Integrating Faith, Mental Health, and Civic Engagement"

We have an amazing panel lined up: Russell Jeung, co-founder of Stop AAPI Hate; Jonathan Tran, author of Asian Americans and the Spirit of Racial Capitalism; Jin S Kim, pastor at Church of All Nations; and Kani Ilangovan, founder of Make Us Visible NJ.

I understand this is totally a last-minute notice; however, should you have time, we would love for you to join us for this ever-important conversation! You can register here: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_m_NtdlqrQ3KainxEr7ARHw

It would be wonderful to see you there!
With gratitude,

Liat Meeyun Shapiro
