Recently, I contributed an article to the Center for Asian American Christianity at Princeton Theological Seminary, discussing the significance of prayer in anti-racism endeavors.
Later today, as a co-convener of the Racial Justice/Peace circle within the Korean Caucus, we will be gathering for a time of prayer. We believe that prayer is a crucial aspect of our efforts to combat racism while remaining rooted in our Christian faith.
While anti-racism work often involves various elements such as hypotheses, theories, and data analysis, I believe that prayer serves as the foundation for all these endeavors.
As Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, "The human mind plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps."
To truly embrace the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in humanizing humanity, it is essential to speak up authentically and from the heart (corage).
