HBC Update 12-18-25
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
Two weeks from today it will be a new year. As we look at the flurry of activities during the holiday seasons, let’s remember to keep a grateful heart. We look at the past year and see the faithfulness of our God through thick and thin. We look at the present and thank Him for daily grace. We look to the future of a new year in anticipation of His constant Presence and Sovereign goodwill toward His people.
May the busyness and things of this season never distract us from the One whom makes it all possible. He is still our “…wonderful, counselor, the Mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.”
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. (Song of Songs 2:11-12 NKJV)
