The Family @ First Baptist White Deer Texas, seeks to Love & Serve Christ & Community...Come be a part of the family at First!

10/27/2026

I want to take just a moment and thank the people who compose the church, the Body of Christ that meets inside this building and serves this community we call White Deer.

The people of First Baptist Church in White Deer know how to treat and love their pastor! This church has a long history of loving the men who have served as their Under-Shepherd since 1912 until today!

Thank you so much Family at First for the luncheon and gift you blessed Gail and I with this past Sunday, your friendship, ministry, and partnership in the gospel from the first day back in 2004 until today and the days ahead are a source of joy, love, and strength for me and my family daily.

THANK YOU!!!

Pray, dream and visualize with us as we begin this journey for a much needed community child care center here in WD.
We will get 'the ball rolling' next month and hopefully in a little less than a year, Lord willing, this dream will become a reality.

This Sunday we will celebrate the ordinance of Believers Baptism.

If you need to follow through in obedience to Christ’s command to be baptized as a public display of your faith in Him as Savior and Lord please reach out and let Bro Alan know.

The water is warm and so is the fellowship among the Family @ First.

As 17th century German Lutheran theologian Rupertus Meldenius stated: ‘In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.’
