A message from Bro. Larry Max McGranahan:
No, things are not as I wish they were. I wish we could worship together, have communion and enjoy fellowship tomorrow! But that's not going to happen. Know what I'm going to do? Not grumble and complain but, instead I'm going to Praise! The Israelites had wandered in the wilderness for 40 years but now their children and grandchildren take up the challenge of entering the promised land. Their faith is stronger, their determination, undaunted! They press on to their destination. But when they arrive they confront another obstacle, the Walls of Jericho! There's always a Jericho standing between you and your destination! Led by Joshua they seem to be at a dead end! Joshua tells them to not despair, he has inside information! With inside direction from God, Joshua tells them to do something that doesn't seem to make sense
March around those walls for 6 days, and on the 7th day, on the 7th time around let out a loud shout of Praise! Maybe some thought, "Ill shout when the walls are down and I enter the city!" They were to praise God while they were outside the walls! They did as Joshua told them to
On that 7th day, on the 7th time around they shouted in praise to God! And the walls came tumbling down! Are their walls of opposition intimidating you? Shout, my friend! Give Praise to our Overcoming God! Praise is what's going to bring your walls down. I challenge you, go through this day Praising ! Say to God, "Father, thank you that you are fighting my battle! By your might I will reach my destiny, I will shout! I will praise! And I will believe that God is going to shatter those walls which the enemy erected against me! Today I will shout! I will praise! And I will see those intimidating walls come tumbling down! Shout loudly, Praise extravagantly and watch the walls come tumbling down in your life today!

In the interest of safety and warmth, we have made the decision to cancel church services for Sunday, Jan. 25. Hopefully, we will be thawed out by Feb. 1., and we will meet again for a special Holy Communion service. Pray for each other during this time. ❤️ Laura Spann

Quiet goodness often leaves the deepest mark. No spotlight. No applause. Just love lived out in small, faithful ways. May we choose kindness that doesn’t need to be noticed and trust that God sees every gentle act done in love. 🤍
