Summer BLAST

Summer BLAST Summer BLAST is Believers Learning And Serving Together! Several White Bear Lake area churches join together for community service projects and fun excursions.

Summer BLAST (Believers Learning and Serving Together) is an ecumenical experience for 6th-8th graders with leadership opportunities for Senior High youth. It is a great chance to meet new friends, help the community, and have fun! Youth are split up into smaller groups for discussion with Senior High leaders as guides.

Service is such an important part of Summer BLAST, so everyone always wants to know what we will be doing this year.

We can let all the secrets out of the bag, but here are a few things we will be doing...
Feed My Starving Children
Visiting nursing homes and playing with residents
Cleaning up at cemeteries
Working with families at Solid Ground

Last year the youth did over 1000 hours of service during the week of Summer BLAST. The more participants we have the more great work we can do for those in need in our community.

You can literally bounce off the walls this summer when you participate in Summer BLAST. Be sure to complete the online or paper waiver when you register so you can be part of the fun!

Did you know that last year we packaged 35,424 meals at Feed My Starving Children? That was enough to feel 97 kids for a whole year!
