Living Word Church in Wheeling, WV Living Word Church is a full Gospel, Spirit-filled congregation dedicated to helping people become mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

We believe our most important calling as a church is to teach people the Word of God! Not just little religious peptalks, but rather giving people the meat of God's Word so they can grow to spiritual maturity. The main focus of some churches is "their music" or the "programs" or "special projects. " But at Living Word Church, we believe the only way we can truly "make disciples" of Jesus Christ is by teaching them His Word (see John 8:31-32 & John 15:7-8)

EIGHTY SIX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED There are 86,400 seconds in a day for me and for you to use. I have no more and you have no less. We all have 86,400 seconds to put to use EVERY day. Are you wasting your days and nights persuing the things of this world and its system with Satan as it's head... OR...are you a good and faithful servent, using that time you have to expand God's Kingdom and IT'S System with Jesus Christ as it's Head? Are you wasting your days? Are you wasting your nights? It's NOT too late to repent and change. But we ARE running out of those presious seconds.

EVERYONE says they want the meat of the Word. In fact, people have left churches searching for "the meat" when in fact they hadn't grown spiritually enough to handle meat.

HEBREWS 5:14 says that someone who HAS grown sufficiently enough to handle "the meat" of The Word has put to practice 'the milk" of The Word so they recognize the difference between good and evil.

Your job is to drink the milk. Don't turn your nose up to it. Receive it. Put it into practice and continue doing so. In the process, you WILL grow to learn to discern.

The mark of spiritual maturity is being able to recognize the difference between good and evil. What is good and right in the eyes of man isn't necessarily good and right in the eyes of God.
