We’re considering putting together a cookbook featuring recipes from our church family, and we’d love to know if there would be enough interest to make it worthwhile.

The cookbook could include favorite family recipes, old-fashioned recipes, desserts, casseroles, breads, and other recipes that have been enjoyed and passed down through the years.

Before we start collecting recipes and putting everything together, we want to see if people would actually be interested in purchasing one.

If we put together a Sacred Mission Church Cookbook, would you be interested in purchasing one?

From the church of 1946 to the church we have today, God has been faithful through every generation. We’re thankful for the people, memories, prayers, and blessings that have been part of Sacred Mission Church’s story for 80 years.

80 Years of Sacred Mission Church

From humble beginnings across the road in 1946, God faithfully led a small group of believers to build a church that would become a lasting legacy of faith, love, and service.

This year, we celebrate 80 years of God’s faithfulness and the generations who have helped make Sacred Mission Church what it is today.

📸 Help Us Celebrate 80 Years of Sacred Mission Church! ❤️

As we prepare to celebrate 80 years of Sacred Mission Church, we are creating a special 80th Anniversary Celebration Book to preserve the memories, history, and people who have made our church family so special over the years.

If you've attended Sacred Mission at any time over the years and have photos from church services, Homecomings, baptisms, fellowships, youth events, special programs, or any other church activities, we'd love to include them!

Please send your photos:

If possible, please include the approximate date the photo was taken and the names of those pictured.

Current members: We'd also love to include a recent photo of you and your family in the Anniversary Celebration Book! You may send those through Facebook Messenger or email, or get with Tabby Thomas at church to have your photo taken. She will have her camera with her each Sunday and Wednesday through approximately the second week of August and would be happy to take a family photo for the book.

As we get closer to Homecoming, and continuing afterward, we'll be sharing pages from the 80th Anniversary Celebration Book here on our page, along with many of the wonderful photos and memories that have been submitted. We hope you'll enjoy looking back at the rich history and God's faithfulness through the years.

Thank you for helping us preserve the memories, friendships, and God's faithfulness that have made Sacred Mission Church such a special place for the past 80 years. We look forward to celebrating this milestone together!

Love and prayers for our assistant pastor, Brian Baer, as his mommy, Debbie Baer, passed away earlier today. We love you, Brian, Mark, Heather, Abby, Alex, and the entire family, and we pray for peace and comfort over the coming days. 🙏💐
