Meet some of the Dv8 Team
Calah Zybach
Same faces. ...Just not as old as the aforementioned ones!
Hi, I'm Calah! I'm a Texas wife, mom, ranch girl, and follower of Jesus. My family is my greatest blessing, and some of my favorite moments are the simple ones—watching sunsets, spending time on the ranch, cheering on my kids, laughing around the dinner table, or sitting passenger princess on our way to a weekend adventure, with a fun drink and a book in my lap.
I love reading, crafty hobbies, writing, and being wherever my kids are. More than anything, though, I have a heart for people. God has shown me His faithfulness through both the beautiful seasons and the difficult ones, and those experiences have given me a passion for walking alongside others with grace, hope, and authenticity.
I've been in ministry for 18 years, but among the multiple positions I have held, serving students is one of my greatest joys. I want them to know they are deeply loved by God, that they have a purpose, and that they never have to face life's challenges alone. My prayer is that every student who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and encouraged to pursue a real, lasting relationship with Jesus. Because the Gospel really does change everything!
I'm excited for this semester because I know God isn't finished growing ME yet. I don't want to simply help students know about Jesus—I want my own relationship with Him to keep deepening too. I want to become more intentional in prayer, spend more time in His Word, and be someone who reflects His love both inside and outside of church.
I love watching students begin to understand who they are in Christ, ask hard questions, and experience God in personal ways. It's a privilege to walk beside them during such an important season of life. My hope this fall is to build genuine relationships, be available when students need someone to listen, encourage them to chase after Jesus wholeheartedly, and trust that God will use all of us to make an eternal difference.
