🌎🌿 The Season of Creation begins today!

From September 1 through October 4, we’re invited to deepen our relationship with creation through prayer, reflection, and action.

This year, the Wheaton Franciscans are exploring what it means to BE Kin—recognizing our deep connection with one another and all creation, and embracing hope, peace, and ecological healing.

Join us throughout the season as we pray and work together for our common home.

This Tuesday, September 1, St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Naperville will welcome Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino of Assisi and the relics of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi and Saint Carlo Acutis.

This is a truly special opportunity to gather in prayer and encounter the lives and witness of these three extraordinary saints.

5:00 p.m. — Relics of Saints Francis, Clare, and Carlo Acutis displayed in the church
7:00 p.m. — Mass, followed by an opportunity for veneration of the relics

As we begin the Season of Creation, it feels especially fitting to gather in the spirit of St. Francis, whose life invites us to deeper gratitude and care for our common home. 🌎
