Last week, Gary Youth went on a retreat, Winter Chill 2026: Love Courageously. We learned that loving courageously means we have to understand what God cares about. As Methodists, we do this through listening to Scripture, tradition, experience, and reason. Sometimes, when we follow Jesus and love our neighbors, we will have enemies. A part of loving our enemies is inviting them to change their minds. When we follow Jesus and love courageously, we can offer infinite hope to those around us because we know God loves all of us. Thank you Rev. Violet Jonicker for speaking the good news to us!

On Wednesday, our middle schoolers celebrated Lunar New Year by making dumplings and eating longevity noodles! As we learn about other cultures, we can see a bigger picture of who God is. Thank you, Somboonsiri family, for sharing your tradition with us!
