If you've ever volunteered at a Vacation Bible School, children's ministry, or church camp, you've seen how God can use one child to impact an entire community.

That's exactly what happened in the life of six-year-old Fyodor from Kazakhstan.

Fyodor is a bright, creative boy who loves to build, draw, and sculpt. When he attended a Summer of Hope Bible camp led by our School Without Walls leaders, he not only enjoyed creative activities that helped nurture his gifts—he also put his faith into action.

Inspired by the example of his parents, who serve their community by providing clean drinking water and sharing the Gospel with their neighbors, Fyodor boldly shared the Good News of Jesus with two other boys at camp, Ibrahim and Oleg. He even invited them to attend church with him.

The three boys lived on the same street but had never met before. Through camp, new friendships were formed, families connected, and opportunities to share Christ began to grow.

Stories like this remind us that God can use anyone, regardless of age, to make an eternal impact.

Eleven-year-old Milena from a container camp in Vanadzor, Armenia, attended one of our Summer of Hope Bible camps, and what she learned followed her home.

Milena’s mother shared, “After attending the summer activities at the church, especially after watching Christian Bible stories, Milena became calmer and more obedient. Every time she came home from church, she would go to her room, close the door, and pray for her sick father. We all knew not to disturb her until she finished.”

One child can change an entire family.

At just eight years old, Varya had spent much of her life living in fear because of the war in Ukraine. At a Summer of Hope Bible Camp, she learned about Jesus, experienced His love, and discovered the power of prayer.

When Varya returned the following summer, she shared incredible news: her entire family had come to faith in Christ. During a night of intense fear and nearby gunfire, Varya prayed as she had learned at camp and invited her mother to pray with her. Since then, their family has prayed together, read the Bible daily, and shared the hope of Jesus with others in their community.

“After attending a summer Bible camp organized by Mission Eurasia, God opened my eyes, and I saw Jesus in a new way. I gave my life to Jesus and was baptized. Now I want to do something big to serve Jesus, and I became a School Without Walls student so that I will be prepared to serve Him with my whole life. My family isn’t Christian, and they don't understand my faith, but I am talking with them and praying that one day they will also come to know Christ as their Savior," Giorgiy shared.

Thank you for helping us evangelize, train, and equip young leaders like Giorgiy who are reaching their families, communities, and entire nations with the message of Jesus. Giorgiy is currently studying to be a programmer and plans to use his vocation to reach his coworkers and clients with the Good News.

Please pray that his family will also come to know Christ, and that Giorigy and help us reach more young people for Christ this summer.
