Our mission is to encourage open-minded inquiry into world religions, philosophy, science, and the arts in order to understand the wisdom of the ages, respect the unity of all life, and help people explore spiritual self-transformation. We stand for equity and justice for all. We affirm the spiritual unity that exists at the core of all beings while honoring the unique and diverse paths that indiv

iduals walk, including but not limited to differences in age, gender, religious or spiritual tradition, race, ethnicity, disability, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. We denounce racism and intolerance in any form, both past and present, and encourage all members of the Theosophical Society in America to self-evaluate and explore cultural biases that are an inherent part of physical manifestation. We strive to create an open and safe community where seekers from every walk of life are respectfully heard and have access to spiritual resources that speak to their unique life experiences.

"Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future but from wanting to control it."
~Kahlil Gibran

What peace might enter us when we let tomorrow arrive in its own time?

The anxious mind believes peace will come when everything is under control.

But control is often the very weight that keeps peace away.

When we stop trying to force the future, we return to the power of the present.

There, the soul can breathe again.

When we feel anxiety arise, may it remind us to open the hand that is gripping tomorrow and return to the peace that is waiting here.

The Witness Within: A Meditation Class on Discovering the True Self

*A four-part online course with Pablo Sender starts Monday, June 8th!* Register and learn more at https://bit.ly/4ugzd3D

We live in a world that keeps our thoughts and emotions in a state of constant restlessness. This state of inner restlessness is not merely uncomfortable but lies at the root of much of our sorrow, anxiety, and the subtle sense of incompleteness that shadows modern life.

Who are we, beneath the ceaseless movement of our minds and bodies? How can we engage in an inward journey to experience our true nature?

Drawing on a rich body of contemplative wisdom from the Theosophical tradition, this meditation workshop guides participants through a structured practice in which consciousness is gradually withdrawn from its identification with the body, emotions, and mind, in search of the Witness, the Higher Self.

Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. CT June 8 – June 15 (2 classes)

Could the illusion of separateness be the veil that hides the unity of all life?

Steve Taylor invites us to consider consciousness not as something locked inside the brain, but as the fundamental reality of the universe.

In this view, each person is not separate from the whole, but a unique expression of the same universal spirit.

When we recognize this deeper unity, love and goodness begin to appear not as exceptions, but as the true nature beneath division.

From “From Separateness to Oneness: The Roots of Human Cruelty and How Connection Can Heal” on our YouTube channel.

Join Steve Taylor for “Back to Stillness: Poetry and Spiritual Awakening” on Saturday, June 6.

"Harmony is the law of life." ~ H.P. Blavatsky, quoted by Clara Codd in The Ageless Wisdom of Life

Could the ancient wisdom be pointing us toward a hidden order beneath all conflict and separation?

According to the ancient wisdom teachings, life is not a collection of isolated beings, but one vast, interconnected whole.

Disharmony arises when we forget that deeper unity and act as though our thoughts, choices, and actions affect only ourselves.

To live in harmony is to become more conscious of the unseen relationships that bind all life together.

Through inner alignment, compassion, and responsibility, we begin to live in greater harmony with the whole.

Let this be an invitation to live today with greater awareness of the whole.

Can the ego serve the spiritual life without ruling it?

Ravi Ravindra shares a powerful insight from Jeanne de Salzmann: the ego itself is not the real problem. Our ordinary self, with all its desires and ambitions, may even be the starting point for spiritual search. But when something true is understood, ego no longer needs to rule. It can become a useful servant in the work of awakening.

Join Ravi Ravindra for his upcoming 4-class series, “Spiritual Practice in Daily Life,” beginning June 6.

This clip comes from “Eternal Law and Transcending Religion” with Ravi Ravindra on our YouTube channel.

"Of all the Qualifications, Love is the most important..." ~J. Krishnamurti, *At the Feet of the Master*

What if love is not simply a feeling, but the very foundation of the spiritual path?

In *At the Feet of the Master*, Jiddu Krishnamurti points to a love far deeper than romance, sentiment, or personal attachment. It is the higher love recognized across the world’s wisdom traditions: compassion for all beings, selfless goodwill, and the impulse to serve. This love transforms wisdom into service and reveals the deeper unity that binds all life.

Of all the qualifications, love is the one that makes the path truly alive.
