The devil will continue to try to lead Gods people astray. Temptations, bad attitude, rebelliousness, anger, unforgiveness, hate, lust, etc. These are all tools the enemy uses. We have to put ourselves in check minute by minute.

The other day, I was driving and someone pulled out in front of me when I had the right of way, and then drove 10 less than the speed limit and I was in a hurry. Not very nice words came from my mouth and I called the person a word that I should not have. The Lord got ahold of me quickly and I immediately asked for forgiveness and then I renounced and rebuked the words that came out of my own mouth and then proceeded to speak blessings over the person. I asked the Lord to bless them and keep them safe and be with them that day on their job.

We need to be tuning into the God frequency so that we hear HIM loud and clear in a moment. Walking so closely with Him and speaking to Him all day so we can hear Him when He speaks to us! I heard Him loud and clear and I am thankful for that. I realized that the words I spoke initially over the person who pulled out in front of me would be considered word curses and I do not want ANY part in the enemy’s plot, scheme, or ploy. I do not want to be a tool that is used for the devil.

I am thankful for my heavenly Father’s guidance and that He forgives me. I am so glad He got a hold of me in that very moment and changed my heart from angry to praying for that person, that they would have a wonderful day and be blessed.

This isn’t a very flattering story about my initial response, but ultimately… I have to share, GOD IS SO GOOD and even when we aren’t, HE IS FAITHFUL! He will straighten us out when we need it if we just LET HIM!!!! 🙌🏼

So today, as you resist the devil in whatever area that he is trying to move you…. Turn to God and pray against the enemy’s ploy and ask Him to give you strength. Really think on the what the consequences would look like if you gave in to the devil, and resist him with all your strength and most of all the strength you get from JESUS! He will see you through. He will give you strength. For I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength (and that includes RESISTING THE DEVIL). And he MUST flee in Jesus mighty name, AMEN!!!!

What if you are harboring anger, resentment, and unforgiveness in your heart over something that ISN’T true?

Really think about that question.

We all have been hurt by someone and maybe even sometimes we think we had the ability to brush it off, not realizing that hurt became deeply rooted, causing a whole slew of problems. Distrust, walls, anger, a bad attitude, negativity. Maybe even word curses towards that person coming out of our own mouths. And again…. What if what you were hurt by wasn’t even true? What if what you were believing was a lie? And even this… what if you only knew half of the truth but the fullness of what you believed wasn’t even reality?

Now wouldn’t that be a lot of negative emotions tied into garbage? Wouldn’t that be a lot of wasted energy and unneeded hurt that truly could have been avoided.

Let me tell you how the enemy works. He is the father of lies. He is a deceiver. He loves division. He comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came so that we may have LIFE and life MORE ABUNDANTLY. Jesus came and died on that cross because He knew we needed Him. And one of those areas is in our HURT and in FORGIVENESS. He’s so good at it. He’s the ultimate forgiver. We need to trust Him with our heart and allow Him to heal our wounds.

And, as I was speaking on the things we have believed and allowed to fester that may be lies… there are times that we are fully justified in our hurt and we know the complete truth, and that thing that person did, crushed you to your core. But Jesus wants to take that from us. Those deep wounds. Those hurts that completely changed you as a person. He wants to heal us from it. Complete freedom. Complete weight lifted.

Is there a person (or a number of people) that come to mind? Begin to pray for that person. Ask God to forgive you for the hate you have harbored in your heart toward them. Ask Him to help you release that and to reveal to you how He sees them. After all, we are all His children. Speak blessings over them and their children. Pray like this daily until you feel that anger and hatred lift. Deal with them one by one. Allow yourself to feel that hurt and go through it. Then allow yourself to release it to God. Be free from the chains that have kept you bound.

Grief is a very hard thing that not one of us is free from experiencing. There will be disappointments and life experiences that will rock us to our core. There will be devastating loss, the kind of loss that brings you to your knees with a wailing cry that seems like it could be heard around the world.

The only thing that has ever brought me comfort is knowing that God hears my cries and that He will never abandon me or forsake me. He will provide a comfort and a peace that surpasses all understanding. So, I press into Him. I get on my knees and cry out to Him. I turn my eyes to Him. Every time I find myself in a place of the deepest grief, He shows up in the most profound ways. So tangible and real. It’s when I get to experience Him at the deepest level. He always meets me where I am. I come desperately seeking Him and I always find Him.

He is so faithful and my prayer is that anyone who may be finding themselves in a season of grief, that they seek God with all their heart and allow for Him to hold them through their brokenness. He is the only one who can provide you what you need so come to Him right where you are and allow Him to do a work. I promise, He will!

Sometimes the things we prioritize are not serving us well. Even if, for a moment, it seems like it is. There are so many things that we can make gods in our life. I pray that the Lord reveals to you what you’re making a priority over Him. It’s good to repent and ask Him to help us keep our eyes fixed on Him! He is good!! All the time! 💗
