The Back to School Fair in Demotte/Wheatfield will be held on Saturday, August 1,2026 from 10 am to noon. The location has changed from Spencer Park to the Connection Center in Demotte (1315 15th St S.E. DeMotte). The event is free and open to K-12 students at Kankakee Valley Schools and DeMotte Christian Schools with proof of residency and the student present. Organizer recommend carpooling because parking is limited around The Connection Center. The fair provides free school supplies along with games, face painting, and temporary tattoos for children while families wait. Stop by our booth to get your spiral notebook.
