"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge cloud of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do so by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne." (Hebrews 12:1-2, NLT).

"For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. It is shameful even to talk about the things the ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, 'Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.'"

This page is a subpage of John Williams it was formerly called Victory in Jesus which is a recovery ministry i was involved with for many years. I left that ministry in January. I started a new ministry working with people in all sorts of recovery through St Paul’s Methodist in Bay City Texas. Therefore, I have changed the name of this page to celebrate recovery St Paul’s. In the future this page will represent this new ministry.
