Greetings in Christ, and blessings to all.
As many of you are aware, Pecan Village Apartments is now under new management. Pecan Village is unique in that it is the only apartment building in Wharton with an in-house place of worship. True Vine Ministries was planted and organized inside this building approximately three years ago, and some of our church members are also residents who are now being affected by the management transition.
As part of this process, electrical wiring and plumbing are being updated. Unfortunately, this has left some residents without power, water, and food. We thank God for the local churches and grocery stores that have already provided donations and services, and we are also grateful for the Wharton Police Department and city officials who are working to ensure that everything is handled properly and with safety as a priority.
Even so, there remains a need for further assistance for these residents. If you are able to help in any way, your contributions will be deeply appreciated.
As Pastor of True Vine Ministries, it is my sincere prayer that Pecan Village Apartments will become a safer and secure place for all residents to live, and that True Vine Ministries will remain a welcoming place where the community can come together to worship. We all need God, and we all need one another in order to make this possible.
In the meantime, let us continue to pray for God’s protection, provision, and peace during these challenging times.
