The Peter Lanzo memorial rhododendron is flowering in front of the chapel. Mr. Lanzo gave us this plant when it was a small bush and it has thrived in this spot. Thank you Peter. RIP.

Thanks to Eric Papachristos, owner of the Venetian and the properties in Lower Jackson Sq. who last year gave us permission to remove day lilies and daffodil bulbs from the former Peck Funeral Home property. These bulbs were distributed hither and yon in the older sections of the cemetery and many came up this spring. The day lilies will hopefully be blooming along North St this summer.. so keep an eye out for them.

What a pretty snowy day. Is this just the beginning of winter.. or the end? The 2015 storms started at the end of January.. one after the other after the other.. Let's hope we don't get that again.
