"Rising Green" by Guest Speaker Julie Snee

First, we worshiped the Sun. Then we worshipped the God of the Sun. Then we worshipped the Son of God. This Sunday, using the Spring Equinox as an example, we’ll learn how humanity’s changing needs have catalyzed a shift from animism to polytheism to monotheism to secularism – and all we have gained and lost in each transition.

UU Church of Weymouth is an LGBTQ+ Welcoming Congregation.

Honoring Palm Sunday (A Week Early)
Sunday, March 22nd at 10:30 by Rev. Barbara Dingwall Mills

Rev. Barbara will be away next weekend, so she will speak on Palm Sunday this coming Sunday and its significance in our Unitarian Universalist religion. Whatever our beliefs about the actual resurrection of Jesus following his crucifixion, the fact is that Jesus was and is an influencer. Today, he might have a blog and a huge following of devotees online. What he did and said and how he lived had and still have a great effect on this world, so it is incumbent upon us to not only acknowledge these accomplishments but also to examine what his death means to us all.

Living Between Worlds by Rev. Lynne Ford

In times of cultural upheaval, personal transition, and spiritual uncertainty, many of us feel suspended between what was and what will be. Drawing on insights from James Hollis’s Living Between Worlds, this service explores how resilience is not found in rigid certainty, but in depth, meaning, and the courage to grow through change. What if the in-between is not a crisis to escape, but a threshold to enter?

We are an LGBTQIA+ Welcoming Community.
