Day 34 | Schedule a Church Check-Up

Let’s strive, as a church family, to ensure we have a healthy church, as depicted below. It takes the whole church body coming together to truly fulfill the goals Christ set before us.

Day 33 | Love One Another

Jesus loves us, and he calls us to love others as well. We are all children of the same God, and we are all working to fulfill His will.

Ask God to help you love your brothers and sisters in Christ as He has loved you.

How are you using your spiritual gifts?

Pray today for God to show you your spiritual gifts and how He wants you to use them to build up His church!

Day 31 | Discover and Do Your Part

There is no telling what God can do through you! If you are looking to get plugged in somewhere in the church, talk to one of our ministry leaders. They would love to help you find the perfect place for you to serve.

Consider praying today a prayer of re-surrender. Maybe you could offer yourself to God the way you did when you first came to Him. Maybe also you could ask God for personal direction in how to live your Christian service to the fullest in the place where He has put you to serve and grow.

Day 30 | Become a Church Cheerleader

We are a team as a church family. We are also a team of brothers and sisters in Christ. We all work together to further His kingdom, no matter what role you play in the church.

Pray today that God will show you ways you can support your church vocally with encouraging words as you move toward congregational revitalization.

Day 29 | Love Your Leaders, Don’t Idolize Them

It can be easy to become complacent with the way things were and miss the beauty of the changes the Lord is making. God appoints His leaders, and we must take heart in knowing that he is moving through them when they lead His people.

Maybe this would be a good day to pray for your pastor.
You might consider praying that God will fill him with the Holy Spirit, restoring the joy of his salvation, affirming him in his calling, and refocusing him on the mission at hand.

Day 28 | Pursue Church Utility

It can be easy to get wrapped up in the day-to-day tasks, the needs of the church, and the things on the horizon. It is important to remember that not only are we all children of God, but we are also here for his glory and plans, not our own.

Would you pray today that God will help you be a person of peace in your congregation? Consider praying that God will give you a peace-making, conciliatory spirit to aid your church as it moves forward toward revitalization.

Day 27 | Consider What Others Think

This passage holds many of the key points Pastor Clint shared in yesterday’s Worship service. When you take a step back and think not about what you want or the ways things have always been, but about how we can better fulfill the Lord’s vision for our church. A church united is so much more powerful than one that is divided.

Consider praying today that God will give you opportunities to listen to the desires and wishes of someone in your church who is in a different age group than you. Pray also that God will enable you to hear what is really important to them through this conversation.
