In Revival closing, Minister Dr. Cynthia Smoke’s Word on Wednesday night came from John 4:13-14, with the message, “Got to Get Rid of Some Old Residue”. Residue sticks like a leech and attaches itself to you. But God can work with you even with residue on you. God can use people who have residue; but that residue can be a heavy load. The Woman at the well had some old residue. That old residue was pulling at her. God still used her as a witness. You need to get rid of old residue. Give it to God—He can rid you of it.

We were wonderfully blessed in song by Jerusalem Baptist Church choir. To God be the Glory!

Tonight is the final night of REVIVAL at New Style. Minister Dr. Cynthia Smoke gave us the Word through another powerful message Tuesday night – “I Wasn’t Invited, but Don’t Count Me Out.” This message was from 1 Samuel 16: 4-13. David wasn’t brought before Samuel like the other brothers; but he was the chosen one. God looks at the heart of people and uses whomever He chooses—not the one you think is the choice based on appearances. Don’t count yourself out, go do what thus says the Lord!
