4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)

To God be all the Glory for an awesome 170th Church Anniversary Program! Bishop Holston’s message, “The Best is Yet to Come,” taken from Ephesians 12:1-3, was delivered with purpose and zeal. Thank you, Bishop and Mrs. Holston, for visiting with us and taking part in our Anniversary Program. We also appreciate Superintendent Dr. Olivia Poole for her support and attendance.

Mistress of Ceremony Barbara Golden kept us energized and encouraged throughout the program. Chapel UMC Choir, accompanied by musicians JaMyron Smoke and Kenderlow Jones, blessed us with beautiful songs of worship. Thanks, Brenda Turpin and company, for the delicious meal. Thanks to everyone who attended and participated in our program—we appreciate you.
