This week we look at Matthew 11:25-30 and the verse we all know and love, "Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

How can Jesus give you Rest from a sinful nature? Because He is fully God. And now, through His life, death, and resurrection, He gives rest from trying to earn (labor for)our salvation.

If you have felt the weight of trying to work for your salvation or felt the weight of trying to keep every law in religion in order to be made right with God; come to Christ, lay your burdens down, and He will give you Rest through the work He has already done on the Cross for you! ✝️🙌🏽

What a convicting sermon from Matthew 11 this Sunday which states in verse 20, "Then He, being Jesus, began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent."

1. All evildoers who do not repent will be punished.
2. There will be harsher punishment for those who have more knowledge of Christ & the gospel yet still do not repent.
3. The punishment will be for eternal for those who do not repent.

Hebrews 10:19-22 - "Since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that He opened for us through His death, and since we have a great High Priest over the [House of God], let us draw near to Him with a true heart in full assurance of faith!"

Can't wait to be in the House of the Lord as the gathered body of Christ, worshipping, encouraging, challenging, and spurring one another on to live for the glory of God!

Matthew 11 reminds us that suffering does not mean the Savior has left us. Sometimes the prison cell becomes the place where we learn to trust Him deeper than ever before.

Faith is not the absence of questions, faith is trusting in spite of those questions!
