Matthew 19:14 "...for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." What is the standard to enter the kingdom of heaven? Child-Likeness!

• Just as an infant mourns their apartness from their mother, we too should mourn our sin and sinful nature apart from Christ (Matt. 5:4)
• Just as an infant hungers and thirsts for life sustaining nourishment throughout the day, we too should hunger and thirst for spiritual life sustaining righteousness and spiritual obedience as we go throughout our days (Matt 5:6)
• Just as an infant is innocent in the eyes of the Lord, the only way we can stand before God in innocence is to repent and be devoted to godliness (Matt. 5:8)
