Xtreme Followers!!!

It’s that time of year again! We will have our Annual Spring Weekend event April 24-26, 2026. This will be our 15th year hosting families. Those of you who have been with us before know how we roll. So if anyone knows a family who would benefit from a fun weekend, please help us get the word out. Space is very limited!

As always we are looking for families who have children with serious or terminal illnesses as our primary audience. However, if you would like to nominate a family with other specific issues or needs, please contact us. Our goal is to always Love God, Love Others and Spread the Gospel (Planting Seeds for Christ).

We can’t operate XOM without generous donations or sponsorships. If anyone would like to support our ministry, please contact us or make checks out to Xtreme Outdoors Ministry. All donations are tax deductible

Dear Xtreme Followers - summer time is here! We hope everyone is doing well!

As everyone knows that as time passes, changes are always around the corner. Well…change has come to XOM. As of earlier this month, we will no longer be having family events at Children’s Harbor. We were notified by Children’s Harbor leadership that since we don’t operate as a typical camp at their facilities along with having fishing and shooting activities off campus we are not invited back to use their facilities!

Although we were hurt and very disappointed in this decision, since we’ve been there for nearly 12 years, we will not quit!! We are working right now to secure another camp location in the same general area to host are regular events. We still need your support and prayers as we plan and ask God to lead us in the right direction.

Please stay tuned in as we move forward!! We still have photos coming from our last 2 events.

Hey XOM Followers!! This weekend (April 19-21) is our annual spring event at Children’s Harbor. We know this is late and last minute but we are in great need to have a medical professional on site with our Team while the families are with us and on campus. This can be an active or retired nurse, medical doctor, NP or PA. We are needing to meet Children’s Harbor requirements as they have gone through a recent national accreditation. If anyone is interested or knows of someone who may be interested, please let us know.

Calling on CPR certified volunteers!

XOM’s next weekend is rapidly approaching. Children’s Harbor is requesting that all camps have at least one CPR certified volunteer be on site during their camps. Is there anyone who has been part of Children’s Harbor before and/or would like to attend our weekend camp starting this Friday night 15th through Sunday morning 17th. A background check by Children’s Harbor must be performed.

Hey Xtreme Followers!!!! It’s that time of year again. School is back in session, high school football kicks off this Friday night under the lights and college football next week!

This also means XOM is back at Children’s Harbor at Lake Martin as well. Sept. 15th - 17th

We have had a huge interest from families this year, thanks to our new friends at Magic Moments! Like any non-profit organization XOM cannot operate without funding. I’ll be honest… we are in great need to cover the costs to operate this ministry. If you would like to donate please get in contact with us. We are also in need of supplies and other operating costs such as insurance, letterhead paper, envelopes, stamps, outdoor gear/supplies, bibles and much more.

If you would like to sponsor a family for this September weekend, costs typical run $150.00-$200.00 per family (food, camp t-shirts, etc.)
