This post is from baby Dean’s grandmother. We pray for Dean every week in worship. The Wetmore UWF gave a donation a couple of months ago. My heart hurts so much that I have to remind myself to breath. Watching my grandson go through hell, watching my daughter live a parents worst nightmare...I am drowning in heartache every single day.
As I left for work this morning, I stood in Dean's room. It is eerily quiet. I don't have the words right now to appropriately describe how I feel. We didn't post an update yesterday, we will try to post one today. Right now, all we know is he is at Children's Mercy for 6-12 more weeks on 2 antibiotics, one that is continuous. This could become his longest hospitalization, (his longest being over 2 months in November 2024 - January 2025). When he is hospitalized, it makes our already tenuous situation that much worse. Dean's life & doing everything possible to for him is priority number one. I am asking for help because we cannot do this alone. We have exhausted every avenue & tried so many ways to get assistance. Gas is expensive, hospital food is expensive, all the tolls, then factor in any medical that Dean needs that is not covered, all the bills that get pushed aside until we can pay. Asking for help is not enjoyable, but it is my family's reality. If you can even just share our information, that means the world to us. Please, please keep Dean in your prayers & keep sending him positive energy. Thank you.
