What does it look like to truly have a long fuse? In week five of The Spirit Formed Life series, we explored the fruit of patience — what the Bible calls "long-suffering" — and why it may be one of the most challenging and transformative qualities the Holy Spirit can produce in us.

The key to patience with others starts with seeing our own sin clearly. God has forgiven us a debt we could never repay (Matthew 18:21-35), and that reality should change how we treat the people who test us most. As Paul writes in Colossians 3:12-13, we bear with one another because God has borne with us.

Whether you are struggling to forgive someone close to you or finding it hard to trust God's timing in your own life, this message is for you. Not my will, but yours be done — that is the posture that sets us free.
