This is a great article that describes the service, sacrifice and commitment of our military - but especially our Reserve and Guard components and their Families. Helping these people is much of what Operation Barnabas - Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) is about. Thank you Mary Chao for writing this as well as your husband, daughter and your unselfish service to our nation.

Repeated tours of duty away from family forced tough decisions. As the 20-year anniversary of 9/11 approaches, Mary Chao reflects.
