All good things…

“I can’t believe we get to do this.”

I can’t tell you how many times Kelli and I have said those words to each other over the past 6 years. Discipling the Abide Students has been one of the most rewarding and blessed experiences of my life. We’ve loved each and every one of those kids so much. All those Wednesdays I looked at Kelli and said, “There’s a lot of life in this room.” This pic was my view of the Youth Building as I got ready to turn off the light and lock the door for the last time. A flood of memories flashed through my mind all at once, too many to count, a myriad of adventures we had together in here.

It’s been a wild ride and an awesome adventure. But God never clocks out, there will be more adventures in this building.

I smiled and I turned off the light.

So proud of our student Keith, teaching his first lesson this past Wednesday night!! Keith is a longtime member of Abide Student Ministry, he made his profession of faith to become a follower of Jesus with us, and has steadily shown signs of growth and a desire to serve. The Lord has a bright future planned for this guy, we just know it !!!!
