I am blessed to attend a meeting of area pastors at the Beacon Light International Baptist Cathedral on Mirabeau Street in the city.
It’s a wonderful testimony to sit here…in a place of worship and ministry…that was under several feet of water 21 years ago…today!

21 years ago today, Hurricane Katrina made landfall in Louisiana. The devastation that followed changed New Orleans and the Gulf Coast forever — but so did the strength, resilience and determination of the people who rebuilt.

Today, we remember all those who lost their lives, their homes and so much more.

Please join us in prayer for the people of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts of Nepal, that have been devastated by sudden floods and landslides. Families have lost loved ones, homes, and communities have been left in ruins. Pray for comfort, strength, and provision for those grieving the loss of loved ones and those who are clinging to hope for missing family members.
