✝️ Tuesday, June 9, 2026 – “Learning How to Live Life God’s Way” | Proverbs 1 (Introduction to Proverbs) | Pastor Dr. Donald R. Jones | Bethesda House of Prayer LIVE

📖 Key Scriptures:
Proverbs 1:7 • Proverbs 9:10 • 1 Kings 3:9 • 1 Corinthians 1:30 • Colossians 2:3

🧡 Summary:
Tonight we begin our study through the Book of Proverbs—a book designed not merely to make us smarter, but wiser. Proverbs teaches us that wisdom is not measured by what we know, but by how we live.

Many people possess knowledge, education, experience, and success, yet still make destructive decisions. Proverbs reveals that true wisdom begins with a right relationship with God. The fear of the Lord is the foundation upon which every wise decision, godly relationship, and successful life is built.

As we begin this journey, we will discover that Proverbs is more than practical advice. It points us ultimately to Jesus Christ, who is the wisdom of God. Solomon received wisdom, but Christ embodies wisdom. The goal of Proverbs is not simply better living—it is deeper living with God.

💡 Key Truths:
• Wisdom is measured by how you live, not what you know
• The fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom
• Jesus Christ is the ultimate expression of God’s wisdom

💬 QUESTION:
Are you seeking more information—or are you pursuing true wisdom from God?

Even with degrees, businesses, and public office, I was emotionally shattered. The Holy Spirit revealed a profound truth: my parents, unable to provide the nurture I needed, placed me in an environment where my gifts could flourish. Sometimes, a lack of parental focus isn't a sign of no love, but of knowing what you truly need. From the Sermon "The Tragedy of the Son Who Stayed" | Luke 15:25–32 By Pastor Donald R. Jones

✝️ Tuesday, May 26, 2026 – “Revival, Mercy, and the Angry Prophet” | Jonah 3–4 | Pastor Dr. Donald R. Jones | Bethesda House of Prayer LIVE

📖 Key Scriptures:
Jonah 3–4 • Jonah 4:2 • 2 Chronicles 7:14 • Romans 10:17

🧡 Summary:
Tonight’s Bible Study continues through the Book of Jonah and reveals the power of revival, repentance, and God’s overwhelming mercy. After running from God and experiencing discipline, Jonah finally obeys the assignment—but while Nineveh changes outwardly and inwardly, Jonah still struggles in his heart.

The people of Nineveh responded to God’s warning with humility, fasting, repentance, and belief. God showed mercy to an entire city, proving that no nation, person, or situation is beyond the reach of grace.

Yet Jonah became angry because God extended mercy to people he believed deserved judgment. This study reminds us that knowing Scripture and theology is not enough if our hearts remain bitter, prideful, or unwilling to extend compassion to others.

💡 Key Truths:
• God is the God of the second chance
• Revival begins with repentance
• God’s mercy is greater than human prejudice

💬 QUESTION:
Do you rejoice when God restores others—or struggle when grace reaches people you did not expect?
