At their 84th annual meeting, the Connecticut Women of the United Church of Christ quilted altar cloths to give to each of the churches that have suffered damage to their facilities in the last year: Somers, Plainsville, and Saugatuck. “The cloths were laid across the pew backs so all the women attending could lay their hands on the cloths as they went forward to receive communion.”

It is with deep gratitude that we receive this tangible reminder that we are in the thoughts and prayers of our sister churches in the Connecticut Conference of the UCC.
