Here at Temple Israel of Westport, we value community over everything else. Earlier this year, when Temple Israel of West Bloomfield, Michigan experienced an antisemitic attack, their High Holy Day machzors were damaged and considered unusable. We are immensely proud to share that our team heeded their call, quickly locating over 1,000 copies of Gates of Repentance, and shipping them over. As we open the gates to 5787, we always remember that hate will never win.

Becky Mann is Associate Cantor at Temple Israel of Westport, CT as well as a composer, guitarist whose original music is a fixture in contemporary Jewish worship. Through concerts, prayer leadership, and original compositions, she inspires communities across the country with music rooted in joy 🤩, resilience 🤔, and hope 😍.
