I'm passing on this information for Donna Murr Deen. Please help keep our local cemetery clean and beautiful.
Attention to all who either have loved ones, or own plots, at Sinnett Cemetery (Hwy 412, Old Keystone Road exit) where many Old Keystone residents and families are buried:
As we come to this Memorial Day weekend to remember those who’ve gone before us, the Sinnett Cemetery Committee would like to ask that you help keep our cemetery neat and free from markers becoming overgrown with grass and w**ds. This responsibility belongs to each of us as family; a donation sent to the address listed at the end of this post will make this possible. It doesn’t get much easier than this to be able to visit a grave or for a gravesite service of a dearly departed one.
We should all take pride in knowing we have helped in making our cemetery look neat and well cared for. All donations received are used for the mowing and w**d eating of the cemetery; committee members are all volunteers.
All flowers must be picked up by June 6th if you want to keep them for future use. Those not picked up will be collected by a local church.
Please do not use glass containers for flower arrangements. Glass containers are easily broken when the wind blows them over. This is a hazard for the men who mow as well as anyone walking around the cemetery.
Please share this to help get the word to as many as possible. By using Facebook, there are no expenses involved (such as paper, envelopes, stamps, etc. for doing a mailing). Thank you in advance.
See address on sign below to mail donation to.
