Calling all ladies!! We are looking for a new name for our women’s ministry team at the Victory Assembly of God and we need your help! Please give us your ideas for a name for our team by commenting on this post. We may have a little surprise for the person who gives us the winning name. We loved our old name - Ladies in Fellowship Together - but we are in a new season and we want to have a new name and new ideas of ways to serve our church and community for God’s glory.

Thanks so much to Kim and Chelsea Boseley, Kim's guest worker (so sorry I never caught her name), Mazie Sipes, Sharon Edwards, Melissa Bowen Anderson, Charles Hayes, Mary Crane (MaryandBob Crane), Scott Lantz, Heather Ramey-Lantz, Ethan Lantz, Teresa Mick, Lindsey Mick, Bethanie Mick, Larry Gatian, and Jane Gatian for helping the Ladies in Fellowship Together (LIFT) ministry raise $1,232.10 during our annual Zul's Frozen Lemonade sale at the Jackson's Mill Jubilee. Thanks also to all of our customers over the weekend and those who gave donations. We really appreciate all of you and pray that God blesses each of you.

Attention, ladies of Victory Assembly of God! Help is needed for our annual Zul's frozen lemonade fundraiser at the Stonewall Jackson Jubilee to be held on September 2nd through September 4th. A sign up sheet has been placed in the foyer at the church. You will be given free admission to the Jubilee if you sign up to work. Men are also welcome to sign up to work.

A couple of days ago, I found out that the hours of the Jubilee aren't quite what I was told earlier in the year. Friday, the hours are 11 am - 8:30 pm, Saturday is 9 am - 8:30 pm, and Sunday is 9 am - 6 pm. Larry Gatian, Brenda Stout, and I will be around to fill in the areas in the schedule where we don't have enough workers.

For those of you who have signed up, thank you so much for your time. All of you should have received your tickets to get in to the Jubilee free of charge. If we missed anyone, please contact me. If you don't know my phone number, you can private message me and I will send it to you. Again, thanks to everyone for helping and I look forward to great fellowship and a successful fundraiser.

If anyone is available to help on Labor Day weekend, we will be selling Zul's Frozen Lemonade at the Stonewall Jackson Jubilee at WVU Jackson's Mill.
