Ahhh, adolescence – those not-so-halcyon days of unpredictable hormones, increasing responsibilities, mounting academic pressure, and essential self-determination.

Join us THIS THURSDAY (July 24th) for an outdoor movie night, continuing Riley's story as told through her anthropomorphized emotions; the film gives encouragement to younger kids, and cringe-inducing flashbacks for grownups (with a side dose of trauma).

We'll gather at 7:00 pm on the First Parish playground for popcorn, snacks, and seltzer; feel free to bring your own adult beverages and dinner (or order delivery). More info @ https://firstparishweston.org/events/

Join us tonight (November 6th) between 6:30 and 8:00 pm for a post-election vigil. There is a great measure of discord and uncertainty surrounding us, so we are holding space for all of our feelings, no matter how you voted. First Parish is offering a safe space for reflection and support, helping us to abide in hope as we pray for our country and the world.

It was 50 years ago that I voted in my first presidential election - but of all the elections I’ve gone to the polls, this is the one that seems the most crucial for the future of America and our democratic system. I hope I’m still smiling when we have definitive results!
