Presiding Bishop Rev. Sean Rowe’s words from July 2025 resonate today, reminding us that, as Episcopalians, we are called to uphold our First Amendment rights and to advocate for the rights and dignity of all our neighbors. "At its best, our church is capable of moral clarity and resolute commitment to justice."

Sorry for the last minute decision but we’re canceling church today due to roads being too dangerous to drive at this time.

Christmas party postponed until next Sunday! This week, we encourage you to attend on zoom. Katy will be in the church so if you are nearby and feel safe coming over you will not be alone!

Just a reminder to all Emmanuel people not to answer emails coming to you with questions like “do you have some time to talk?” It’ll end up being an ask for gift cards or something. They are scams using names of people you know or think you know. If in doubt check the email and it’ll probably be a very generic one that doesn’t match the name they’ve given you. Always know that clergy and staff will not ever ask for money via email or text. In fact, we won’t ask outside of official stewardship times, and you’ll get that all in church. Be careful, friends!!
