"Each little flower that opens,
each little bird that sings,
God made their glowing colors,
and made their tiny wings." 🎶

"All Things Bright and Beautiful" (no. 147 in The United Methodist Hymnal) was written by Cecil Frances Alexander, an Irish writer, in 1848. It notes the work of God's creation in both the majestic--like "purple-headed mountains--and the minute--like an open flower. It invites in us an awareness of God's work around us.

🎵 "God gave us eyes to see them,
and lips that we might tell
how great is God Almighty,
who has made all things well."

💭 Where are you noticing God's good works today?

On some days we feel overwhelmed. And there are moments when the road ahead seems uncertain, and we may feel we don’t have the strength to keep going.
On days like that, remember this Scripture:
“I can do all things through the One who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
This is an invitation to give your worries to God. The strength is something God will provide. So when you feel weary, lean into God’s presence. When you feel uncertain, trust in God’s promises. And when you feel weak, remember that God’s strength is made perfect in you. You are held, you are sustained, and you are never walking alone. 🌻

🔥🕊️ 🌬️🔥

Today we remembered that the Spirit still moves.
Still breathes life into weary hearts.
Still gathers people together across every difference.
Still sets faith ablaze in ordinary people.

What began as rushing wind and tongues of fire became courage, hope, community, and good news for the world. And that same Spirit is still at work among us today.

Grateful for the familiar faces, the new faces, the music, the prayers, the laughter, and the sacred moments we shared together. 🕊️

“Everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 2:4
