In this week’s Torah portion, Noach, Rabbi Zive reflects on the Tower of Babel and the power of our words. Today, we’re more connected than ever, but connection doesn’t always mean understanding.

Our words can build bridges or walls, spread kindness or division. The question isn’t how many people hear our voices, but how we choose to use them to make the world a little brighter.

BIG MILESTONE. BIGGER SMILES. 💙📖✨

Mazal Tov! Our youngest learners officially stepped into their Jewish learning journey which was celebrated with their Consecration, and WOW… what a beautiful morning it was!

There were songs. 🎶
There were blessings.
And, of course, plenty of proud families.❤️

Because Jewish learning isn’t just about what happens in the classroom. It’s about the traditions we carry, the community we build, and the memories we make along the way.

Here’s to a lifetime of Torah, Jewish joy, meaningful connections, and plenty more reasons to celebrate! 🥰📖💙

As we reflect on three years since October 7, Rabbi Zive reminds us that one of the most powerful ways to respond to darkness is to keep creating a future.

Making plans, celebrating milestones, gathering around Shabbat tables, building families, and choosing joy are all acts of hope. When the world feels uncertain, we can still choose to create light, build, love, and believe in tomorrow.

Because sometimes, simply making plans for tomorrow is a powerful statement that we believe tomorrow will come.

This past Shabbat, our HOME was filled with delicious food, sweet treats, joyful prayer, and plenty of reasons to dance! 🥳

Together, we rolled out the Torah, rediscovered its stories, and even designed our own Torah cookies. 🍪 Because what’s better than celebrating our traditions? Sharing them across generations, making memories, and having a little fun along the way!

🙌 Join us for our next Shabbat+ on November 6: Living with Gratitude, featuring our Grades K, 1, and 2 Religious School students.

We’ll explore hoda’ah, the Jewish tradition of giving thanks, and discover how gratitude can become more than a feeling. It can be a daily practice that changes how we see the world. 💙

Shake, shake, shake, shake your lulav! 🌿

Thank you to our TDD family for coming out this past Saturday and making Sippin’ in the Sukkah the place to be! From great food and drinks catered by Unique Occasions Catering and Events to plenty of laughter, conversation, and meaningful connection, it was such a fun night celebrating Sukkot together. ❤️

Here’s to life long friends, great memories, and celebrating together! 🌿🥃 And don’t forget to save the date for next year, October 16th!

Wow! Our HOME was filled with heartfelt prayers, familiar melodies, quiet reflection, hugs, and so many people coming together during the High Holy Days.

Yom Kippur gives us a moment to pause, reflect, and think about the kind of heart we want to bring into the year ahead. A heart that is open, compassionate, and willing to love, forgive, and take the next step.

That is B’chol L’vav’cha. With All Your Heart. 💙

As we move from Yom Kippur toward Sukkot, listen as Rabbi Zive reminds us that we don’t have to have everything figured out to find joy.

Sukkot asks us to step outside the comfort and certainty of our homes and into something temporary. Because life is temporary, plans change, and so much is beyond our control. But that doesn’t mean we have to wait for everything to fall into place before we celebrate what’s right in front of us.
