The youth harvested the produce from the garden this morning and several church members took some to make various recipes for "A Meal and More"Thursday. Several of us are cooking Tuesday at 11- if you have some time, join us!

Today we cleaned the same stretch of beach again at six am- So much trash! Still the ocean is a great place to begin the day.
We went to the plenary sessions and observed the committee reports, discussion and voting on each resolution. It was fun to see the old voting cards replaced with electronic voting.
We went to the Council for Youth and Young Adult Ministries luncheon and were all inspired by Frenchie Davis' story and music. Followed by rock wall climbing. Thank you parents for texting me your permission!
Back to afternoon plenary, more resolutions and voting. Now they are all swimming before our closing reflection time and worship.

After a tour of LA and Hollywood with a terrific tour guide, we returned with souvenirs and pictures of our trip.
We spent some time in the Exhibit Hall and then divided up and went to our workshops.
Dinner was a Samoan Luau and by various Pacific Island Churches. It ended with an impressive fire dancer.
After a short swim, we gathered for evening devotions. Our youth shared what they learned in their workshops- Faith and Science and Technology, New Anthems for Smaller Choirs, Storytelling, and Post Traumatic Stress and Returning Veterans. We ended our day together with worship led by our young people. Praise God!
