Carroll Carvers - Westminster, MD An active group of woodcarvers and woodburners that meets monthly in north-central Maryland. Center St., Westminster, MD.

This is a fun and friendly group of people who enjoy creating fine artworks from wood. We welcome all woodcarvers (both hand- and power-carvers) and pyrographers who share our love of creation. The group boasts world class wildfowl carvers who are sought as instructors and judges all over the region. We are, however, dedicated to teaching and promoting the art of wood carving to new artists. As on

e of our past presidents likes to say, "if you can peel a potato, you can learn woodcarving." Our club meets at 10:00 AM on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Robert Moton Center, 300 S. Our meetings consist of a short discussion of club business, followed by a "show and tell" of new creations by our members, and then a demonstration which frequently is hands-on. We invite you to join us for a meeting so that you can see what we are all about. The membership fee is $20.00 per family, per year.
